ATS is in the final stages of producing a complete range of of simple configurable environmental monitoring devices. Each new project has resulted in a considerable effort in finding a complete and coherent set of IO devices to allow us to both implement and test the devices.

Therefore we have taken our range of unique product specific test gear and design a homogenised back end that allows the connection of almost any type of monitoring device.

The first set of interfaces are USB, Ethernet and ZigBee, mainly due to current projects. However we plan to quickly add Wifi and Bluetooth.

The first set of monitoring points includes:
vibration analysis,
power analysis,
door opening,
temp, humidity and dew point, and
smoke and temperature

as well as general purpose analogue and digital IO

While the second stage includes the monitoring of
hydrocarbons,
carbon monoxide,
airflow monitoring, and
pressure.

The aim is to design and implement a mechanism that allows a customer to define the set of IO points and monitoring devices they require, to specify the controlling interface and to then receive their monitoring system within 10 working days.

So far implementing the first set of monitoring points has been proven very successful.
